ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany city leaders took a big step forward Wednesday in their continuing effort to get rid of eyesores.

City Attorney Nathan Davis cleared the first mobile home case in Municipal Court. The owner of unit B-28 in Mimosa Mobile Home Park gave the city permission to demolish her trailer if she doesn't take care of it within two weeks.

If the building is not torn down within 14-days, city code officials will begin demolition October 13th.
