ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Darton women's soccer team bounces back from a tie with Georgia Perimeter last Friday by blanking South Georgia College 5-0.
Fiona Ryan collected another shutout for the Lady Cavs who are 6-0-1 in region play and 7-1-1 overall.
Sashanna Campbell, Brittany Fox, Josie Rabbitt, Taylor Benton and Shenel Gall scored the goals for Darton with Christine Kelly earning an assist on one of those goals.
Darton women host ABAC Friday at 6:00 p.m. and back at home Saturday at 5:00 p.m. against Andrew College.
Darton men get a late goal on a penalty kick to beat South Georgia 1-0.
Mynor Perez scored the goal for Darton.
The Cavaliers are now 8-3 and 5-1 in region play.
Darton men host Andrew at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
