ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Halloween is still about a month away, but if you're feeling the urge to dress up early you'll have a chance if you attend Darton's annual Dinner Theatre and Silent Auction.

The event will be held this Friday, October 1st, at the Darton College Student Center.

The theme this year is the Roaring 20's so event organizers encourage folks to wear their favorite flapper costume or if you aren't feeling as daring, cocktail attire will do.

The event will start off with a cocktail hour followed by a dinner and a silent auction with some amazing prizes including unique artwork, and trips available to the highest bidder. All of the money raised will go towards scholarships for the students.

"We have trips to New York City, Hawaii, some local businesses have donated gift certificates and packages, the local community has just been tremendous in doing that for us," said Brian Perkins, Broadcast Journalism Coordinator.

WALB's very own Dawn Hobby will MC the event, so you don't want to miss out.

Tickets are still available, contact Darton College for more information.
