ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Police responded to the same area of one Albany street twice overnight Saturday, once for aggravated assault, the second time for an armed robbery.
Just after 11PM Saturday officers went to the 700-block of highland Avenue, near the House of Jazz.
Brandon Winns told officers he was robbed at gunpoint by two men, It's unclear if they got away with anything.
At 4:30 Sunday morning, APD returned to the same block after someone fired a gun a two women. No one was hurt.
Two weeks ago someone shot a 19-year-old in the leg near the same location after two gunmen tried to steal his purse.
