ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Many small businesses could use a boost to help them get through these tough economic times.

The Chamber of Commerce hosted an expo to give business owners a chance to network with each other and reach potential new customers.

Chamber president Catherine Glover says it's been two years since the last business expo. Nearly 60 businesses set up booths inside Darton's new student center.

"It has been slow including us so we are doing what we can to increase our business," said Elements Coffee Co-Owner.

The chamber represents 1,200 business and roughly 35,000 employees in Albany.
