VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) –A Hip Hop concert Thursday will raise money to help kids.

Young Dro is headlining the show.

100 Black Men of Valdosta and 100 Black Men of Southeast Georgia are putting on health fairs, a gospel concert, and a president's ball this week in connection with the Swamp Classic, Saturday's football game between Savannah State and Albany State.

Proceeds will go to programs to benefit children across south Georgia.

"It will augment scholarship funds," said 100 Black Men President Roy Copeland. "Secondly, it will augment the SAT programs, the mentoring programs and a lot of the outreach programs we do for the 100 that benefit kids."

The concert begins at 7 p.m. at Mathis City Auditorium.

The first 100 students to show up get free tickets.
