ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Albany State football team is coming off one of their biggest wins in recent history at Tuskegee last weekend.Albany State resumes their rivalry with Savannah State for the first time in six years.
These two teams used to meet in Macon at the Music City Classic.
This year's game is the Rumble in the Swamp Saturday in Waycross.
Albany State head coach Mike White has been recounting some of the memorable games between these two teams.
He is looking forward to watching another chapter written Saturday in Waycross.
This weekend the Golden Rams are ready to make new history with a former rival.
Mike White said. "It brings back a lot of history when they were in the conference. It was a rivalry and all the great games we had with them for a long time here. So, it is good to have them back on the schedule."
