VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - The scoreboard at Cleveland Field in Valdosta IS still smoking after Friday night's 64-62 overtime win for the Cats over Brunswick.Georgia High School Association football historians say the 126 points scored by both teams make the game the highest scoring game in state history.
illespie said. "Extremely proud of the offense. To step up to the plate and make the plays they had to make in order to win the game. Then the defense made the one play at the end there. We had to have that play there to win the game." Valdosta High hosts Lee Montgomery at 8:00 p.m. Friday.
Lee is winless this season but their competition has included Alabama powers Prattville and Carver-Montgomery.
