ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Two women struck by a car Tuesday afternoon in Albany remain hospitalized.

48-year-old Marie Frederic and her sister Marjorie Duval were crossing Westgate Drive around 5:30.

Police say a Honda S-2000 driven by Janice Haddrill hit them as Haddrill turned from Dawson Road.

Officials say the women were not using the crosswalk.

Frederic and Duval are in fair condition at Phoebe Putney Hospital.

No charges have been filed against the driver.
