Westwood is now 4-0 and for their performance they have earned WALB team of the week honors.
Freshman J.T. Edore kicked things off early with a seven-yard TD run to put Westwood on top early capping an 80-yard drive.
The 18 point margin was largest of the season for the Cats.
Their first 3 wins have been by 3 points or less. This has been the first time since 2001 that Westwood has started the season 4-0. Head coach Ross Worsham says this year's team is playing with something a little extra
Ross Worsham said. "These kids are working hard and got a lot of heart. Got a little bit of a chip on their shoulder from last year because we were in so many close games and didn't win so they are hungry right now and we gotta keep that up can't get satisfied." Jake Edore said. "It feels good being 4-0 just gotta keep it going and starting region schedule we're back to 0-0 just gotta come out on top."
