Teen killed by drunk driver laid to rest

Moultrie, GA (WALB) – A Norman Park teenager was laid to rest Monday, three days after troopers say he was killed by a drunk driver.

27-year old Shane Bush remains in the Colquitt County Jail charged with vehicular homicide, D-U-I, and an open container violation.

They say he struck 19-year old Joshua Pritchett late Friday night as Pritchett got something out of the bed a pickup truck parked on the side of Georgia 33 near Doerun.

18-year-old Heather Jones was in the drivers seat.

She was treated at a hospital and released.

According to the Georgia Department of Corrections, Bush previously served time in prison on burglary charges.

    Albany Utilities has occupied the 207 Pine Ave. building since the late 70s, but utility leaders say it’s time to move on. Stephen Collier, Assistant City Manager of Utilities, told WALB News 10 that the current building is no longer in shape to do business.
