ATLANTA (AP) - Grammy-winning R&B singers Estelle and Ne-Yo along with Anthony Hamilton and Musiq Soulchild are expected to pay homage to Otis Redding by reciting the soul-singer's most memorable songs like "The Dock of the Bay."
Redding's sons, Dexter and Otis III, also plan to take the stage at the Woodruff Arts Center on Thursday night.
Redding established himself in the early 1960s as a first-rate songwriter, penning and recording "Respect," which Aretha Franklin made a No. 1 hit. His biggest hit, "The Dock of the Bay," was released after his death in a plane crash in December 1967.
