ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Surrounded by heavy security, a Dougherty County jury is deliberating in the murder trial of two suspected gang killers.

The jury started deliberating early Thursday afternoon in the murder trial of 20 year old Montell Giddens and 19 year old Erick Jackson.

They are charged with gunning down 19 year old Timothy Murray during a November 2007 gang fight.

Prosecutors say Giddens and Jackson are members of two different gangs, and were shooting at each other when they hit Murray in the cross fire.

Investigators say three gangs were fighting that day, and Sheriff's Deputies have kept very tight security in the courtroom during this week's trial.
