AMERICUS, GA (WALB) - Former Lee county head coach Tim Goodin has accepted the head coaching job at Southland Academy.
Goodin has been the head coach at Randolph-Southern for the past two years.
Last season, the Patriots had their best season ever with eight wins and a trip to the GISA class A semifinals.
Goodin has more than 70 wins as a head coach at Terrell County, Lee County and Randolph-Southern.
He has also been an assistant at Westover and Dougherty.
Goodin takes over at Southland for Jack Harris who resigned back in November.
