Albany -- Law enforcement officers from around South Georgia braved rainy weather to raise money for charity.
More than 100 officers teed up at the Riverpointe Golf Club Monday afternoon, in the third annual Southwest Georgia Police and Sheriff's Intelligence Unit Golf Tournament. A lot of fun for the officers. A time to relax and get together off duty.
Lt. Scott Gore of the Dougherty Police Department said "It's a great stress reliever. We all have long hours full of cases, and this helps to get out here and relieve some stress."
The officers tournament raised nearly 5-thousand dollars to help the Anchorage in Lee County.
