ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Internet child porn sweep in Georgia Tuesday. 40 search warrants were executed and 16 people arrested, two of them here in South Georgia.

34 year old Reginald Jackson of Albany was arrested and charged with sexual exploitation of a child.

GBI and Dougherty County Police officers raided Jackson's home in the 500 block of 8th Avenue around 8 this morning and seized his computer.

The GBI led the statewide crackdown called Operation Shattered Innocence. Dougherty County Police Chief Don Cheek said this is an ongoing problem that will lead to many more arrests.

Dougherty County Police Chief Don Cheek said  "More and more file sharing activities. I don't think we are going to see it go away overnight. We've got to aggressively enforce this type of behavior."

In Lowndes County, 31 year old Jason Nash was arrested at his home in the 4000 block of Danube Circle. He was charged with one count of Possession of Child Pornography.
