THOMAS COUNTY, GA (WALB) - One man is dead, another badly burned after a power line accident in Thomas County.

Sheriff's investigators tell us two contractors with the power company, Mastec, out of Tallahassee were installing power lines at the intersection of Hwy 188 and Patten Coolidge Road in Coolidge around noon.

Somehow the men were shocked and rushed to Archbold Hospital.

Florida resident Greg Nelson died. The other man is being airlifted to the burn center in Augusta.

Officials tell us they do not know his name.
