ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Two Albany men went on trial Monday for the 2007 gang killing of 19-year-old Timothy Murray was gunned down near Albany High School.
19-year-old Erick Jackson and 20-year-old Montell Giddens are charged with killing him.
Investigators say members of three different gangs started fighting on Rosedale Avenue in November 2007 and bullets starting flying.
Murray was shot in the head, and several stray bullets hit passing cars.
Prosecutors say the trial could take seven days because of the number of witnesses.
