DOUGLAS, GA (WALB) - Governor Sonny Perdue is coming to Southwest Georgia Tuesday and bringing some good news with him.

Governor Perdue will make his announcement during the City of Douglas' Economic Development Committee 50 year anniversary.

This much needed news comes after 900 jobs were lost during Pilgrim's Pride plant closure.

But the good news is Coffee County will be getting a new industry, unlike any other in the state. And it will bring hundreds of new jobs to the community.
