East Albany store robbed in broad daylight

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany Police are looking for two men who robbed a store in broad daylight.

It happened around 12:30 Sunday afternoon at the Stop-N-Shop on Sylvester Road.

Police say when the two men walked in the store, one pointed a gun at a customer and demanded money before forcing that customer into a bathroom.

The second robber pointed his gun at the clerk and demanded money and cigarettes.

The clerk was then forced inside the bathroom with the customer where they stayed until they felt safe.

The first suspect is described as 25-years-old, 6'2 and slender. He was wearing all black clothing and sunglasses.

The second suspect is about 17-years-old, 5'8 and also slender. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a light colored jacket, a hat and sunglasses.
