ALBANY, GA (WALB) - One man stood apart from the rest in Saturday's marathon.

His name is Charlie Gregory. This is Charlie's 75th marathon, and he's been doing it for a long time.

He has run marathons in every state

And that's not all, because on Saturday he also turned 75-years-old.

He and a group of friends came from Atlanta to take part in the Snickers Marathon Energy Bar Marathon to celebrate.

"It's my 75th birthday and I was trying to find a marathon and I found this one, there wasn't very many today. The weather also worked out pretty good we were expecting it to be a lot warmer but we got through before it got really hot, the course was beautiful." said Charlie Gregory, Runner.

Charlie completed the 26.2 mile race in 5 hours and 59 minutes.

His next goal is to take his number of completed marathons to 100.
