Jets are flying to nationals

AMERICUS, GA (WALB) -  South Georgia Tech is headed to the NJCAA men's basketball tournament for the first time in school history.

The Jets knocked off rival Georgia Perimeter 76-71 in the championship game of the GJCAA men's tournament at the Hangar on Saturday afternoon.

Jae Crowder showed why he was the GJCAA player of the year with 27 points to lead the Jets to their second GJCAA tournament championship.

Antonio Bell added 17 points for the Jets who are 27-6 after their win over Georgia Perimeter.
