Lee County - A bank robbery in Lee County is connected to another bank robbery in Lowndes County.

"Right now, seems like we're just one in a string of many," said Lee County Sheriff's Major Geoffrey Smith.

The robbers may have pulled off three other bank robberies in Georgia and North Flordia.

Surveillance pictures from a September bank robbery at First Federal Savings and Loan Bank in Lake Park and Thursday's Colony Bank robbery in Lee County shows the amazing resemblance.

On the left, a picture from Lake Park, on the right the exact same man in Lee County.

Here's the next comparison, look at the resemblance between the two bank pictures.

Federal agents have compared the tactics, but not the pictures. "In this case the two individuals description matched," said Major Smith. "Their weaponry matched, and one man went to the vault in these other robberies."

Once federal agents compare photos, they may link the same men to two bank robberies in Florida and another in East Georgia.

If you have any information about these men, call the FBI or Lee County Sheriff's Office.
