Valdosta - A South Georgia county will be the first in the state to offer immediate election results on its web site.

On election night, people in Lowndes County will have access to real time election results. County officials expect to have results posted about a half hour after the polls close on Tuesday.

"The results for this election will just be for our county, but in the future, we hope to offer state wide results," said Paige Dukes, Lowndes County Public Information Officer.

You can access the election results directly from the county's web site.
