ALBANY, GA (WALB) - South Georgia Wildcats coaching staff may have to put names on the top of the players' helmets during training camp.
The Wildcats have added another player to the roster with the signing of receiver Alvance Robinson.
Robinson caught 54 touchdown passes in playing for current Wildcats head coach Rodney Blackshear in Lubbock the previous two seasons.
Robinson joins a talented receiving corps that already has Antwone Savage and Robert Kilow.
Savage is one of just three Wildcat players in camp who were on last year's team.
The all-AF2 receiver believes it will not take long for all of these players to mesh into a team.
Antwone Savage said. "We do have a lot of veterans. So, it is not like we have to start over with a lot of teaching. We just need to get in and everybody kind of gels together."
Wildcat fans can meet the team Monday at 6:30 p.m. at San Joe's Grill on West Broad Avenue.
