ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
It may be cold outside but that didn't stop the South Georgia Wildcats from enjoying the action on the practice fields Tuesday night.
On the third day of training camp, the Wildcats were looking to heat up with the season opener less than three weeks away.
With many new faces on the roster, the Wildcats are glad to be on the practice field and say much of camp will be spent building team chemistry.
"It feels great you know last year we made a lot of good accomplishments and this year a lot of the guys aren't here so we have a bunch of new guys so it feels great to get out here with the new guys and kind of come together and start to come together" said QB Cecil Lester.
The Wildcats open the season March 21st against Florida. The home portion of the schedule begins March 28th, that game is also against Florida.
