Camilla armed robbery suspect questioned by APD

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -Albany Police are questioning a Moultrie man arrested for an armed robbery in Camilla Monday to see if he is connected with a recent wave of Albany robberies.

20-year old Charles Rashad Sharpe is charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault.

Police say he robbed A and A Finance and Tax Service on East Broad Street in Camilla Monday afternoon and fired a shot at an employee when she ran for the back door.

Police caught Sharpe a few blocks away.
