ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany woman is cited for DUI after her SUV crashed through an Albany building Sunday night.

Tuesday afternoon, Police charged 57 year old Deborah Davis with DUI and child endangerment.

They believe Davis was intoxicated on prescription drugs Sunday night when her SUV ran off Clark Avenue and crashed through a building in the 1900 block.

Davis and her 7 year old granddaughter were trapped in the car after the crash. Emergency responders had to pull the car out of the building to free them.

The granddaughter was not injured. Davis was treated at a local hospital.
