Albany- On November eighth, the city of Albany will honor attorney C.B. King. The Federal Courthouse will be formally dedicated the C.B. King United States Courthouse.

A banquet will be held that night to honor King and others involved in the civil rights movement. There will be a parade Saturday, November ninth, in his honor. C.B. King committee members say this celebration is long over due.

You can buy tickets for the King banquet at Odyssey records and June Bug's grocery. The cost is twenty dollars per ticket. The NAACP is asking you to contact them, if you know of people who worked with C.B. King during the civil rights movement.
