ALBANY, GA (WALB) - GBI agents now say a Lee County couple found dead in their Winding Way home Thursday hadn't been seen by family or friends for at least a week.
Agents say they're still working on a time line for when Evelyn and Paul Jayson Ryals were last seen. Their decomposing bodies were discovered by a family member who called the Sheriff's office Thursday just before 12:30 p.m.
The autopsies revealed no injuries on either body and so agents must now wait for toxicology tests to determine a cause of death. Anyone with information about the couple is encouraged to call the GBI or the Lee County Sheriff's Office.
