Johnny Williams home on Crescent Drive caught fire around ten Sunday night. Firefighters said the blaze started behind the fireplace because of a faulty chimney.
And a five gallon plastic tank of gasoline stored next to it melted and fueld the flames. Williams and another person in the house got out OK.
Firefighters estimate the damage at $50,000.
