Dougherty County - If you lend an arm, you can go to the fair for free.

The Southwest Georgia American Red Cross Blood Center is in desperate need for blood donors. As an incentive, every blood donor will get a free gate pass for the Albany Exchange Club. American Red Cross representative, Patsy McMath, says, "We can give one to each donation. So, for people who go with younger kids, this is a great chance to go right in for free. I helps patients in the long run too because they are the ones that get the products."

The blood center on Dawson Road has a hundred tickets left. The fair starts on Tuesday.

Next month, the blood center will have a Georgia-Auburn challenge. Blood donors will get a free Georgia-Auburn T-shirt and a chance to win autographed football prizes.
