ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A scary ordeal for one woman after her SUV went crashing through an Albany building Sunday night.

57-year-old Deborah Davis was heading East on Clark Avenue, when somehow her vehicle ran off the roadway and crashed through a building at 1904 Clark Avenue.

Davis and her 7-year-old granddaughter were unable to get out of the vehicle after the crash.

Emergency responders were able to get the vehicle out in order to free them.

Davis was taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital where she is listed in fair condition.

Her granddaughter was not injured.

Police are investigating to find out how the wreck happened.
