COLQUITT COUNTY, GA (WALB) - A Colquitt county man was air-lifted to the hospital after a wall collapsed on top of him after this weekend's severe weather.

Rescue pictures were taken when firefighters were called to 1488 Funston-Doerun Road just after noon Saturday.

That's where they found the homeowner trapped under a wall and roof of the double wide mobile home. There had been a fire there a week before and he went back to the home to salvage some of his belongings.

Authorities did warn him not to go back because it was not secure. Strong winds Saturday caused the home to collapse. The man's name has not been released.
