LEESBURG, GA (WALB) - Leesburg Police think they have identified one of the three gunmen who robbed the Flash Foods convenience store Wednesday night, one of four businesses in Albany and Leesburg robbed at gunpoint in a three hour period.

Now they are asking your help in finding the man.

Leesburg Police have named 29 year old Zayat Nelson a person of interest in their investigation. They think he is on the store's surveillance video from the robbery.

Terrell County probation officers saw that surveillance video on WALB News Ten Thursday night, and recognized him.

Leesburg Police Chief Charles Moore said "She came over and looked at a video and audio tape we had received from Flash Foods during the armed robbery. One of the subjects in the armed robbery favors one of her probationers, which would be a person of interest we need to talk to."

Nelson has arrest warrants for aggravated assault in Albany, and probation violation in Terrell and Mitchell Counties. Now Leesburg Police want to talk with him about this armed robbery.

If you have any information where to find him, call the Leesburg Police at 229-894-9704.
