BERRIEN COUNTY, GA (WALB) - Berrien County drug agents busted an elaborate indoor marijuana growing operation Thursday.

Berrien County Sheriff Anthony Heath says they raided a home on Drawdy Road and confiscated 23 marijuana plants they say would have been worth nearly $50,000 at maturity.

They also confiscated marijuana packaged for sale, three guns, a vehicle and cash.

Deputies charged Adam and Sarah Bennett with manufacturing marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm during a crime.

DFACS is involved because the Bennett's two children lived in the home.

They were at school at the time of the raid.
