Stopping election fraud

October 29, 2002

Albany - The U.S Attorney's Office and the FBI will be in Albany next Tuesday to monitor voting. Their presence comes after the Attorney General's announced a Voting Integrity Initiative to prevent voter fraud.

"An Assistant U.S. Attorney will be one hand to take any complaints about voting fraud or any elections problems that may arise," said U.S. Attorney Maxwell Wood.

An FBI Agent and Assistant U.S. Attorney will be at the new Federal Courthouse on election day.
