SYLVESTER, GA (WALB) - D.N.A. evidence puts an accused Worth County killer at the scene of the crime.

A GBI crime analyst testified Wednesday that Chris Szorscik's blood was found in the victim's bathroom.

33-year-old Richard Bentley, Szorscik's step-father, was stabbed to death in his home in 2007.

Szorcsik's mother, Charlene Bentley, pleaded guilty last year and is in prison. Now her son is on trial accused of helping her carry out the murder and burying Bentley in a shallow grave.

The trial continues Thursday.
