Sylvester- An accused drunken shoplifter is charged with hitting and killing a wheelchair bound Sylvester man. 

Forty-three-year old Carolyn Cromartie faces more than a half dozen criminal charges. Police say she shoplifted at the Sylvester Family Dollar Store ten days ago.

As she sped away, she hit 63-year old Allen Shaw, who was riding in his motorized wheelchair. Shaw died four days later.

Cromartie is charged with vehicular homicide, DUI, reckless driving, shoplifiting, and a number of other charges.

She is free on $10,500 bond.
