ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A group of possible gang members attempted to rob a man in Albany Saturday night.

Albany Police responded to the 700 block of North Cleveland a little after 9:00PM.

That is where Eugene Palmer told police that six or seven gang members jumped him and tried to rob him.

Police reports do not say whether he was hurt or if anything was taken.

The case is now under investigation.
