AMERICUS, GA (WALB) - An Americus man had to be hospitalized Sunday afternoon after a woman stabbed him.

EMS were called to 105 Sun Valley Drive at 12:45 PM Sunday afternoon and transported him to the hospital with injuries.

Americus Investigators are not releasing many details about this case right now, but do say this incident may have stemmed from a previous altercation.

The victim is being treated at Sumter Regional Medical Center.
