Albany- About a hundred people gathered at Veteran's Park to show support for Republican gubernatorial candidate Sonny Perdue and other Republican candidates.

State House District 137 hopeful Ed Rynders and County Commission candidate Harold Farnsworth also were there.

"The response we're getting across the state is overwhelming. People are just coming up and calling the number on my ads and giving ideas there. I'm fired up. I told them all I need is some James Brown music because I feel good," says Perdue.

Perdue says he's confidant and plans to campaign hard right up until election day.
