Albany- 1.3 million Georgians don't have health insurance, and Democratic candidate for Insurance Commissioner, Lois Cohen, says this is something she wants to help change.
Cohen says Georgia ranks thirty-ninth among states in terms of health coverage. She says so many Georgians, especially women and children, are not covered, because they can't afford it. Cohen says more affordable insurance plans should be offered, so everyone can receive proper health care.
This is not Cohen's first bid for public office. Two years ago, she ran for the State Senate District sixteenth seat.
