ASU alumni return

October 25, 2002

Albany-- Thousands of Albany State alumni are returning to the Good Life City this weekend, for the annual Homecoming Celebration.

Homecoming events got underway Friday on campus, with graduates like Shaun Harper returning to visit their alma mater. The Thomasville native graduated from Albany State in 1998. Now he is the assistant director of Admissions at Indiana University.

Harper says homecoming at Albany State is an event he would not miss. "Connecting with the administration, old faculty, old friends and fraternity brothers," said A.S.U. Alumnus Shaun Harper. "It's been the highlight of my week."

Homecoming weekend at Albany State continues FridY night with a dance at the Civic Center. Saturday morning at 9:00, there will be the annual parade through downtown.

The Homecoming football game kicks off Saturday at Hugh Mills Stadium at 1:30PM, the Rams hosting Clark Atlanta. Over 12,000 fans will be at the game.
