An Albany woman who escaped prosecution in a shooting death two decades ago has been indicted.

Forty-seven-year old Tonie Liera Holton is accused of murdering her husband's ex-wife on September 25, 1982.

At the time, Tonie Holton told prosecutors that Debra Holton, who was five months pregnant, was shot during a struggle over a sawed-off shotgun.

But the Dougherty D. A. Ken Hodgessays there's new evidence in the 20-year- old case.

Tonie Holton now lives in Worth County. She has not been arrested. The D.A. said they are waiting for her to turn herself in.
