ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany police are looking for a purse snatcher who injured a woman in a grocery store parking lot.

70-year-old Rosie Ousley was cut while walking out of the Harvey's Supermarket on West Gordon Saturday afternoon when a man attempted to steal her purse from her shoulder.

The thief was trying to cut the straps of her purse, but cut her hand instead. Ousley was treated for her cut at the scene.

The thief was described to be a black man, about six-feet-tall wearing a blue scarf, black jacket, and gray sweat pants.
