ALBANY, GA (WALB) -   Westover High beat Peach County in Fort Valley.

The win clniched the top seed in the 1-AAA boys tournament and the right to host the semifinals and finals.

Westover is going to have to forfeit that win and a few more and Monroe has also had to forfeit some wins.

Dougherty County athletic director Johnny Seabrooks says Westover and Monroe have both played more 25 regular season games the Georgia High School Association allows.

Seabrooks says Westover has had to forfeit region wins over Cairo and Peach County and their non region win over Albany.

Monroe will have to forfeit two wins also.

This means Peach County will get the top seed and host the semifinals and finals next week.

Cairo could likely move up to second in the seeding since their loss to Westover on  Tuesday is now a win.

Coach Seabrooks says the final tournament pairings will be determined Saturday morning.
