ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A quick Dougherty County Police Officer captured two burglary suspects Monday when he chased them both down.
Officer George Camp answered a call about a home burglary on Woodridge Court about 9 Monday morning.
He saw four young men matching the description on Pinson Drive.
All four men ran, and Camp chased two of them until they surrendered.
Dougherty County Police Officer George Camp said "Once they ran about 75 years into the woods, I was giving verbal commands for them to stop, Police, and they needed to lay on the ground. And they both turned around and noticed I was getting closer to them. And they both stopped and layed on the ground and were placed into custody."
18-year old Jerald Haynes and a 14 year old were arrested for Obstruction.
The 14 year old had been reported to Police as missing.
The other two suspects got away, but Officer Camp is on the lookout for them.
