    Ravi Mikel Givens was arrested Tuesday and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. He is being held in the Dougherty County jail. Givens, who played ball at Westover and Stetson
    Agents say that police responded to the apartment because of a burglar alarm. Officers found the back door broken open and went inside. That's where they detected a strong odor of marijuana, and saw pot in plain view.

Albany -- An Albany man is in fair condition in a local hospital after being shot by someone in a passing car. 22-year-old Charles Bradwell was walking here in the 200 block of Ebony Lane in South Albany about 3:30 Tuesday morning, when he was shot once in the left thigh.

Bradwell told Police he heard a car driving by, but did not get a good look at who shot him.

Bradwell said he had just been dropped off by friends, and was walking to a relative's home. Police say they have no suspects.
