ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Valdosta State squads are drawing big crowds these days.
That is not surprising since both Blazer tennis teams are ranked third in the nation.
The men of course have won a national championship and finished second in the nation twice.
Head coach John Hansen has five players returning on both teams and his newcomers are just as talented as the veterans.
Coach Hansen says it is very early in the season but it would be nice if both teams could win a national championship this year.
John Hansen said. "It would be nice of course. Talent is always relative to what the other team has. Yea we would love to do that."
The VSU tennis teams are in action on February 28th when they host West Alabama.
